Spicy Shrimp & Grits
tbsp. olive oil
clove garlic, minced
lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on optional)
cup Sontava Habanero Hot Sauce
tbsp. lemon juice
Creamy Cheese Grits (recipe follows)
Heat butter and oil in large skillet. Saute garlic 1 min. until brown.
Stir in shrimp. Saute 3-5 min. until shrimp turns pink.
Add Sontava Habanero Hot Sauce and lemon juice. Cook 1 min. until sauce is bubbly and shrimp are well coated. Serve with Creamy Cheese Grits.
Creamy Cheese Grits: Mix 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup chicken broth, ½ tsp. salt and 1 tsp. minced garlic in saucepan. Heat to boiling. Gradually whisk in ½ cup yellow grits. Reduce heat; simmer 2 min. until thickened, stirring often. Stir in ¼ cup grated Parmesan or Cheddar cheese.
